KwikFix is an advanced admin dashboard built for an automotive e-commerce and service platform that combines product commerce with service operations management. Unlike a traditional e-commerce admin panel, this platform manages both physical automotive products and real-world service workflows, creating a much more complex operational ecosystem.
The platform supports the management of tyres, batteries, automotive accessories, and vehicle services, while also integrating technician assignment and service workflow management.
Built using React.js, Redux, React Query, Material UI, and CSS, the system was designed for high operational efficiency, scalability, and complex business workflow handling. Material UI provides production-ready React components well suited for enterprise dashboards.
The Challenge
Managing an automotive service-commerce platform introduces significantly more complexity than standard e-commerce administration.
The platform needed to handle not just products and orders, but also real-time service coordination, technician workflows, and hybrid operational processes.
Key challenges included:
• Managing both physical product commerce and service bookings in one platform
• Coordinating technician assignment and operational workflows
• Handling multiple inventory categories with different fulfillment logic
• Managing complex admin state across orders, services, technicians, customers, and analytics
• Building an interface capable of presenting dense operational data clearly
• Maintaining fast frontend performance despite data-heavy workflows
• Designing scalable architecture for future marketplace growth
